Trendsetter Tuesday - Meet Trendie Christine

Today I have the privilege of introducing Christine Okken as TSG's very first Trendie of the Month!

Christine is a busy wife and mother of 3 from Alberta, Canada.  I spied a wonderful bio of Christine, in her own words:

"I love to create, it is part of who God has made me to be...and I have found my favourite way to do that, paper crafting and stamping. It has been a wonderful outlet for me and has given me opportunities I would have never dreamed of. In my life outside of stamping, I am a wife of 16 years to an amazing man who loves me for me, and Mom to three precious busy energetic children. My husband and I serve together as Youth Pastors to Junior High, High School and College-age students at a wonderful church. A full life! I'm busy and blessed!"

I love this card which uses images from the Believe in You stamp set and sports hand colored ribbon.

This trendie number uses scallops and two wonderful stamp sets to create a scene: Art is the Window and Cattitude.

 And look at how gorgeous this card is using gorgeous Copic coloring of the Puppy Love stamp set image.

TSG83 - Cards for Kids

This week's challenge is brought to us by our wonderful Trendie, Christine! She has challenged us to create a card for a child/kidlet/young person etc :). This can be anything from birthday cards to something to slip into their lunchbox before they head off to school. Use your imagination and have fun!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card for a child then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Dec. 6). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG83 so we can check out your beautiful work!
