~ There She Goes.......~

It is appropriate that we use the name of this stamp company "There She Goes..." as we say a fond farewell to our very first Trendie, Christine Okken. Christine has done an amazing job over the last two months. She has completely rocked the TSG label.

First......Look at that beautiful smiling face :) Christine is such a joy to work with and we all wish her the very best. Hopefully, we'll see more There She Goes creations in Christine's future!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite ChristineCreations:

She totally blew me away with the Love Birds set!

This Wish Big card surely brought a BIG smile to it's recipient!

I kid you not, I didn't even SEE the topiary in the Season's Greeting set until I saw this jaw dropping card.

And of course, Christine has cattitude (in a good way), so this beauty was perfect to share.

Please make sure you come back to "visit", Christine. You'll always be one of us!

Dollar Find Friday - 2011 calendar

Happy Christmas Eve! It's Iwona here, and today I'm bringing you an idea for a great new year's gift - a quick & simple to make fridge calendar.
All you need to make one is a magnetic clip (you can buy these in an office supply store - I got mine for 2 or 3 dollars), a printer, some TSG stamps and a colouring medium of your choice! :)

I printed out my calendar pages on good, sturdy paper (250gsm). The template is designed by my hubby, and I'm willing to share the .pdf file with anyone interested (please email me at iwona_estera@wp.pl).

There's a different stamped image on each page, I coloured them all with watercolour pencils & blender.

There are many different ways that you can dress up or present your calendar. This is an easy option, but I'd love to see what other ideas you've got! If you happen to make one, please link up your creation at the bottom of this post, so that we can check it out!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TSG FANS!!!!

Trendsetting Spotlight on Emma!

It's time for the Trendsetting Spotlight! Each Thursday we feature a card made by someone who has participated in the previous week's TSG Challenge. Would you like to be in the Trendsetting Spotlight?? Join in the fun by participating in our weekly challenges posted every Monday!

This week's spotlight is on Emma!
Emma made this adorable card for our Kids card challenge.
I just love it!  So trendy using the beautiful sparkle paper and the gorgeously colored image. Here's a little bit about Emma:

1.     When did you discover stamping?  I’ve been stamping almost as long as I’ve been scrapbooking, over 10 years, but didn’t really ‘get it’ until I discovered clear stamps.  I had a CTMH party and joined up soon after.  Two years later, I have a huge collection from many companies – and I cling mount any rubber stamps.  About the same time, I got into making my own cards – I hate giving the stores $5.00 for a plain card!

2.      What is your "go to" embellishment? I’ve always struggled with embellishments – I can play around with placement for ages and never be happy.  I do love ribbon though, and you can’t go wrong with a pretty bow!  Anything sparkly is pretty good too, but I have sworn off chipboard letters as the stash was starting to get ridiculous.

3.     What is your favorite new tool?  I’m not sure if they’re a favourite yet, but I just got my first batch of Copics.  I think they’re going to take some practice, so I’ve been watching a lot of You tube videos.  Otherwise, I’m not so much about the latest and greatest, but the old standbys.  I love, love my Cuttlebug, Nesties and embossing folders, I use them all the time.

4.     Tell us a little about yourself.  I have 1 hubby, 2 really busy boys, 1 mini van and a dog – which, along with a full time job as an aircraft maintenance planner keep me really busy.  Scrapping’ with friends is a great way to relax and have fun.  DH says I’m only allowed to scrap since I’m good at it, but he thinks I should do more pages and less cards!

Well, we agree with Emma's husband, she is good at it and we can't wait to see what you come up with next. You can find Emma on her blog, Paper Addicts Anonymous.  And you could find YOURSELF in the spotlight by participating in our weekly Monday challenge. So get crafting!! :-D

Wednesday Trends - gift voucher holders!

Hello, it's Iwona here, chiming in with a Wednesday Trends post!
Tis' the season of giving, so why not make some holders for gift vouchers? I prepared a couple for Christmas, and they hold a full-page, printed out vouchers, that I folded in three.
I used the adorable penguin from the Penguin Pals set, and coloured it with my Copics & watercolour pencils.

Photobucket

I added some glitter to the "snow"... here's a close up of the coloured image:

I kept the inside simple - just covered it with a piece of patterned paper, and attached a couple of velcro dots to make the holder close nicely. The sides are sewn together, and to cover the stray ends of thread, I adhered another piece of DP to the back of each voucher.

Here's one more design, good for those who don't feel like colouring... just adhere some chipboard snowflakes, sponged with the ink of your choice, glitter them up, and voila! You're all set :)
All it needs is a nice sentiment - mine comes from the Season's Greeting set, and I stamped it repeatedly over the panel.

So... only two days left until Christmas now, are you ready??
If you feel like a little gift for yourself (or need one for a stamping friend), don't forget that Changing Of The Seasons Winter Sale started yesterday! You've got until the 28th to do your shopping, don't miss your chance to get some fabulous sets at 15% off!!
Thank you for coming, and I hope you'll visit again on the Christmas Eve, to check out my Dollar Find Friday post with some fab gift idea :)

Trendsetter Tuesday - Corinna

Hey Hey... There She Goes fans, cheerleaders and designers! Holly, here! Since my time off, Corinna has been doing an amazing job of keeping the blog hopping. We thought it would not be cool to make her write up her own "Trendsetter Tuesday" post...teehee.
First, let me brag on Corinna a bit. Way before she became a Trendsetter, Corinna was a devoted There She Goes fan... or cheerleader, as I like to call her. Her style and the There She Goes designs are just a perfect fit.... Here's evidence:

This first beauty is made with two TSG sets... Home Sweet Home and HSH Holiday Additions.
This stunning CAS Christmas Card is made with the newer Season's Greeting set.

And finally, this amazingly delightful birthday card made with the Wrapped in Joy set. Would you look at the rockin' color job on this baby?!

Now, I have a special request. Our Corinna has sent her man off on deployment recently. What an incredibly hard thing to do and a very unselfish thing, too! Let's all leave her some love, support and encouragement over on her blog: Stamping with a Java Junkie.

Corinna, you are a joy to work with. I wish you comfort and joy at this difficult time. Your man is a HERO in my eyes! God bless you both.

Hugs!

Stampbook Saturday - Julie

SS1_121710_JMKL

Hello TSG friends! Today I have a Stampbook page to share with you all! The inspiration for this page came from Piali's card shown below. I loved her card and couldn't wait to be inspired for a Stampbook page.

SS3_121710_JMKL

This is my cat, Daisy. The "Meow" sentiment came from the Cattitude set (which is one of my favs!)

SS2_121710_JMKL

Even though I'm not much of a scrapbooker, it's actually kind of fun when you get going. If you
have time, give it a try!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
