TSG148 Easter and Animals

This week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetters! We are challenging YOU to make a card or project with an Easter theme, but using animals. It's also There She Goes (Again) week and this time we are highlighting the sets "Flowers of Happiness", "Hunny Bunnies", "Bear Hugs" and "Tweeterpated".

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using Easter and Animals, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (March 26th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG148 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Stampbook Saturday with Theresa

Hi All - Theresa here with a Stampbook Saturday post.

As said earlier, I am back with photos of Kaylee, my cousin Andrea's daughter. One thing about Andrea is that she is very generous with her children's photos. I am making my own scrapbook of Kaylee. I also made this page to show Andrea how easy and how much better it is to make scrapbook pages with stamps versus stickers.

I saw this card from former Trendsetter, Jackie Rockwell and thought World's Best was the perfect stamp set for these photos. Plus I wanted to show Andrea that you don't always have to color stamped images. TSG stamps are very versatile and there a lot of stamps that just require a stamp pad or are optimal for paper piecing.

So for my scrapbook page I stamped the stems on designer paper and the flowers using the silhouette stamp and the color Cotton Candy from CTMH.

I want to thank all of you that left comments here, on my blog, and on FB. I thoroughly enjoyed hosting the blog this week. I am just so happy to be a Trendsetter. I'll say it again. I love this company!!

That's all for me. Be sure to come back on Sunday for a chance to win one of the Trendsetter's gorgeous cards.

Anything But a Card Friday

Hi All - Theresa again with Anything But a Card Friday. I'm so excited to share this project with you. I hope you like it!

For my project I chose The Fairy Best stamp set. I just love it!! I had a blast coloring these little beauties. This wall hanging is for my cousin's little girl, Kaylee. She is the happiest baby I have ever met. She deserves to have  fairies hanging over her bed.

Please forgive my photography skills...I am still learning how to take and edit photos and taking photos of huge projects is hard. Here is the project as a whole (you can click on the photos for a larger view):

Here are the individual photos.

I hope you like it. You can stop by my blog to see the recipe for my banner. Be sure to come back tomorrow for Stampbook Saturday. I am making a page of Kaylee.

Have a great one.

Trendsetting Spotlight on Caroline!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Trendsetting Spotlight. This week, the spotlight has fallen on Caroline from Caroline's Creations!!

Caroline first caught my eye, and many others, with her ADORABLE Perk Up tag she created for last week's tag challenge!! So clever!! LOVE the looks of her cups...she ROCKED it!!

And if THAT wasn't enough, she went on to make a series of tags using Perk Up! Seriously, LOOK at the face on that cup??!!!! It is TOO funny!! Love the color scheme and embellishments!!

Her final tag, she made to mimic a store front window...LOOK at those YUMMY treats!! This is just WAY too fun!!

I hope you have enjoyed this week's spotlight!! Be sure to swing past Caroline's blog and say HI!! Tell her that the girls at There She Goes sent you!!

Wednesday Trends - Negatives

Hello Crafters - Theresa here!!

I am so excited to be the host this week. I am even more excited that I get to continue to be a Trendsetter. I love this company, the stamps, and Jessica. I can't say enough about TSG.

As I thought about the trend I wanted to highlight this week I thought about a challenge that Torico gave a few weeks back on using negatives. Well it got me to thinking about how crafters add shading to their cards, add backgrounds, or clouds. I was working with my Cricut machine and saw some of the negatives that were left and thought what a great mask or stencil to create a background.

Well here is what I came up with...

Supplies that could be used: Cricut, Spellbinders, Dies, ink, sponge, dauber, cardstock, and TSG stamps.

I used my Cricut and the cartridge Art Philosophy. I cut out the image I wanted to use (actually I think this is the positive, but the negative is so much more prettier).

Next lay the cardstock down and your mask over the cardstock and daub with color. I went daubed lightly because I didn't want the design to over power my image.

Then use the gorgeous design to decorate your card.

I hope that you'll give this a try. It's very easy and delivers a beautiful impact on your cards. I can't wait to hear what you think.

Come back tomorrow and see if you're in the "Spotlight."

Trendsetter Tuesday- Theresa Winslow

Hey everyone, and Happy Tuesday!!! Since we were pairing up with Tuesday Morning Sketches today, our Trendsetter Tuesday post is a little late, but it doesn't mean we don't ADORE today's Trendsetter.....Theresa Winslow!!

Theresa was one of last term's Jr.Trendsetters, and we loved her so much, we asked her to come back for another term!! You can read a little more about her above!

Now, let's take a look at some of her FABULOUS work!!

The first card I wanted to show of Theresa's features our new set, EGG-stra special. I LOVE the soft pretty colors, her sponging, and the doily behind her image...how CUTE!!

Her next card features one my of our adorable bot sets, Birthdaybot!! I LOVE the huge present this little guy is holding, and Theresa's color pallette, papers and layout just make it POP!!

And then I saw this card.......{happy sigh}. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's no surprise that a card, and set (Every Child), like this would appeal to a person with an artistic nature!! LOOK AT THOSE CRAYONS!! I love the simple look of this card, and the little pops of color on the black and white.

Well, that is it for today! Be sure to swing past Theresa's blog to see more of her amazing work!!
