TSG155 Inspiration Challenge

Hello TSG Fans!! Our Trendsetter of the Week, Holly, is challenging all of us to use the provided photo as inspiration for our card or projects. There is so much to look at in this photo, and SO many TSG stamp sets that will work, this should be FUN!! The great thing about inspiration is that you can take it where ever you want it to go, just let yourself be inspired!

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a project using the inspiration photo, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 14th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG155 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Stampbook Saturday

Hi everyone, Laurel here again, this time with a layout for you.  Although I do more cards than anything else, I do love to scrapbook.  My favorite things to scrapbook are the everyday things that occur.  The layout today is about how my hubby usually rotisseries something every Sunday and we love it!  He then uses the leftovers to make some great meals during the week.  Anytime I don't have to cook is a blessing for me!

For my layout I have used some Echo Park Paper along with the Bon Appetit stamp (I told you I love this set!)

And a couple of close ups.

ABC Friday

Hi everyone, Laurel here and I have a super easy project for you. I used the Bon Appetit stamp set, which happens to be one of my favorite TSG sets!  I think this little chef is such a cutie!

Anyhow I decided to make myself some napkins.  I purchased a lot of these napkins several years ago on a clearance sale and they sure have come in handy for gifts.  Now having premade napkins made this project so quick and easy.  I inked up my stamps with black acrylic paint (I used a sponge dauber to apply the paint to the stamp) and stamped.  Voila, done!

Here is a close up of the napkin.  Don't you think that image is perfect for this?!  I love it!

Now I'll be back tomorrow with a Scrapbooking project for you.

I couldn't help but notice some of the SUPER cute creations coming from one of our challenge participants....I mean seriously...HOW CUTE!! La Papera Gialla has used some of There She Goes' stamps to create some ADORABLE creations. Let's check a few out!!

This first card, which I would have NEVER made into a Father's Day card...well, it WORKS SO WELL!! Sweet, simple, and FABULOUS!! I love the addition of the bowtie, and that ADORABLE heart...Bee Happy has been SO well represented, because THIS card makes my heart happy!!

LOOK at the SUPER cute banner!!! Her creation with Float My Boat has some of the most ADORABLE colors and embellishments...such a cutie!!

And finally, THIS set of tags is what caught my eye immediately....they are TOO CUTE!! Using the Bee Happy set again, I think these ADORABLE creations do just that!!

Wednesday Trends

Hi Laurel here with a fun trend that I have been all over since it first came out - baker's twine.  No I don't use it for baking, in fact I hardly even bake anymore.  Since getting my first bit of twine a couple of years ago, I have used it on pretty much every project since! I love twine, my poor ribbon is feeling neglected ;)  I love that I don't have to fuss to make a perfect bow, twine is just casual and easy!

Here are some of the wonderful brands out there:

May Arts:

And the one that I used on my card today, The Twinery:

Like I said, I use twine all the time.  It has many uses.  For this card I have used the Perk Up set.

Now I challenge you to dig out some twine and see what you can do with it.

Trendsetter Tuesday- Laurel!!

It's time for another Trendsetter Tuesday, and I am SUPER excited to announce another one of the new faces to There She Goes, Laurel Seabrook. Laurel is a fabulous teacher, mother, scrapbooker, card maker, and SO much more!! I had the privilege of meeting her when she was at Jessica's for the Pajama Crop, and she is FABULOUS!!

Here first card I wanted to showcase today makes me giggle it's SO CUTE!! I LOVE her paper pieced tower of animals from the Jungle Out There set...they look so thrilled, and they work PERFECTLY together!! Look at that grass, too....SO FUN!!

Another SUPER cute creation using a LOT of paper piecing, which I LOVE!! It was made using the Under the Weather set, and is just TOO adorable!! From that super cute sun, her choice of papers, and layout, to the adorable umbrella...it's actually DOES make my day brighter!!

Her last creation caught my eye IMMEDIATELY...I LOVE her take on this past week's sketch challenge!! I love Laurel's scrappy style, and she used the Hauntingly Delightful set PERFECTLY for this FABULOUS creation!!

Well, that is it for me fr now! Be sure to swing by Laurel's blog and say HI!!!
