Stampbook Saturday with Tobi

Hi there!

It’s Tobi Crawford here and I’ve been challenged to use stamps on a scrapbook layout today for Stampbook Saturday. Since I’ve been trying my hand at Project Life I thought I would try a layout with 6x6 sections.

I made the layouts quite simple by using bright cardstock and some coordinating patterned papers (Echo Park) from a paper pad... It's a great way to use up the "leftovers" from that collection of 6x6 you have. ;) 

I added a little bit of washi tape here-and-there as well as some cute chipboard elements. 

I stamped on a couple of those pieces:

I used a very popular TSG set with the project life crowd called Oh Snap! I never thought of this set before in this way, but it’s perfect for scrapbooking and art journaling!

 

I just added a few stamped touches as to let the pictures be the star… It is my understanding that Project Life layouts are supposed to be on the simple side… That’s okay with me!!!

There She Goes (Again!) Lighten Up

Hi there TSG fans! It's Tobi once more with day three of There She Goes (Again!) week!  The past couple of days I've shared with you some fantastic cards using Blossom By Blossom and Beautiful Day and hopefully today's cards will put a smile on your face too!

There are not only a variety of lamp bases and shades, but there are also some heartfelt and humorous sentiments to coordinate perfectly with the images.

I love this deliciously fancy card from Candace Pierce. Paper piecing is a good way to add pattern to the lamp shades!

Very nice pearl accents, Torico! What a smart idea!

And look at this smarty-pants idea from Jackie Rockwell! The lamp shades make a perfect dress form don't they! Very cool!

TSG (Again!) Beautiful Day

Hi there TSG fans! It's Tobi again with day two of There She Goes (Again!) week!  Yesterday I featured a TSG fan favourite: Blossom By Blossom and it was great fun to look through the Pinterest gallery at some of our older creations!

Just a reminder, if you are ever in need of inspiration for a particular set, we have some busy little bees hard at work  to keep our Pinterest Board stocked full of ideas. The boards are organized by stamp set so it's extremely user friendly!

Like yesterday's set, these stamps are designed to build scenes! There are two other stamp sets that coordinate with Beautiful Day and they are: Follow Your Bliss and Once Upon A Time. 

Here are some beauties for your viewing pleasure: 

Iwona coloured this scene beautifully, and I especially love the wooden elements! 

Jodi included the little flower box in this scene and it makes it so cozy! 

I made this one big because I want you to check out the background. I had to look twice because I didn't believe it: THE BACKGROUND IS THE STONE WALL STAMP!!! Wow Jessica! That is some amazing stamping! Beautifully coloured, as always, and just a perfect card!

There She Goes (Again!) Blossom By Blossom

Hi there TSG fans! It's Tobi here and I am going to be with you all week for another fun edition of "There She Goes (Again!)." If you're new to the blog then you're in for a treat, we like to call this week "There She Goes (Again!)" because we're going to feature 3 "classic" sets from our fabulous array of stamps. At the end of the week on Friday the Trendsetters have been hard at work coming up with fresh inspiration with our TSG (Again!) sets. 

If you are ever in need of inspiration for a particular set, we have some busy little bees hard at work  to keep our Pinterest Board stocked full of ideas. The boards are organized by stamp set so it's extremely user friendly! 

Now onto today's featured stamp set: 

Blossom by Blossom

Torico's adorable illustrations are a joy to colour and this set has so many "build-a-scene" possibilities that you'll never run out of new ways to pair the images!

Check out some Trendsetter cards from the past: 

Jessica is famous for her scenes and rightly so!! 

She used the tulip and grass images to build a little garden for the focal image. 

Kim Teasdale created this lovely scene with the large focal image (the girl on the bench) by adding some grass. She had to create a mask for the grass so the bench legs would appear behind the grass, but what a clever way to arrange the stamps! 

This isn't quite a scene per se, but I used some of the additional dandelion seeds to accentuate the fact that this girl is blowing on the blossom. You could extend them all the way to the edge of the card just for fun!
