ABC - Christmas Treat Holder

Are you one to give baked goodies to family and friends during the holiday? If yes, you probably looking for fun and creative way to package your yummy goodies.

I'd like to share this treat holder that was published on Paper Crafts 2013 Holiday special edition. This treat holder is perfect for holding cookies or candies.

For the gingerbread house part, I cut it using Silhouette and then before assembling it, I embossed it with wood grain embossing folder. I love using my Silhouette. It's a quick and easy way to create amazing project. For detail, I use the gnome from My Li'l Friend set as Mrs. Claus.

To hold the two sides together I tied in May Arts ribbon. And, the b onus part, once the recipient remove the goodies, they can use this holder for decoration. Two in 1 use. :)

Hope you enjoy today's post. I'll be back tomorrow with a layout. See ya...

Embracing Gold

Hi everyone. Vera's here. I am sure you have noticed that gold accent has popping up everywhere. From fashion to house decor, gold has shown up in design in a trendy way. Normally, I am a silver kind of girl, but I find myself being attracted to gold more and more.

I believe in using gold as accent. It adds instant fun glam to any projects. Here's a couple inspiration pics I found on Pinterest.

A golden wedding theme? Yes, please. What's not to love?

Feathers dipped in gold glitters turned simple feather into fabulous and stylish party decor.

Add glamour to flower arrangement by using a gold vase and paint the edges of the flower in gold paint. Little touches that add amazing glam details.

Love the plate, mirror and bowl. The bright gold make the design more modern and trendier.  Look at the dots on the plate. It conveys a modern fashionable design.

So, here's my card using a bit of gold for accent.

I used Nordic Border and Merry Christmoose set for this card. The sentiment is from Be Merry set. Isn't this Snowman so adorable?

So, what do you think of the gold trend? Do you like it, on the fence or not  into it? Maybe, like me, you're so not into it, the give it a try and before you know it, you'll be like of, this could be fun. :) I hope you enjoy today's trend review. Thank you for stopping by here and thank you for all your support for TSG.
