Good day, Friends!
I wracked my brain to come up with a project today that would be a little 'creepy'! With Halloween just around the corner, there will be lots of candy given out. I came up with a cute way to package some skeeeeeeeery treats!
I found these little jars at Hobby Lobby for a buck a piece. They are about 3oz jars with the old fashioned fast lids. How fun, huh? Then I went to the Dollar Store and found these little bags of chocolate eyeballs for a dollar, too. This was the beginning!
Here are your supplies needed:
Small jar with lid
Candy
Assorted papers
Drippy Goo punch
Circle punches
Ribbon
Googlie eyes
Adhesive
Red marker
White Gel pen
Silver string
Sticky tape
Ok, this is all pretty self explanatory, but I will give highlights. Cut your paper to wrap around the jar. In this case, I layered the punch section with the designer paper (spider webs! ohhhhhhh!), then added a small top strip of purple. Using sticky tape, wrap around jar and adhere.
I then added the Trick or Treat ribbon and tied it in a knot. Set that aside and make your
eyeballs.
The eyeball is made from a 1" punch (white), 1/2" punch (purple) and large hole punch (black). I layered them together and used the red and white pen for accents. I then punched a hole in each and tied them to the ribbon using silver string.
The tag was made by stamping the sentiment and adding googlie eyes (adhered here with stickles). This was tied to the ribbon around the top with silver string.
I then filled the jar with googlie eye chocolates and voila, a yummy treat for friend or co-worker!
