Tonight is the Friday Night Chat over at the TSG Forum. The official chat starts here at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (10 PM Eastern) but feel free to stop in at any time during the day to say hello :) You need to be a registered member of the forum to be able to view/post so make sure you take a couple of minutes to do that first. Enjoy this great Dollar Find Friday project by Julie and 'see' you all tonight!
It's Dollar Find Friday and I have an altered 2010 planner to show you today. I don't know about you, but I think the Target dollar spot was created just for us paper crafters!! I can always find something in one of those bins to alter. Now if I actually got around to using most of the stuff that would be another thing....:)
This project is fairly easy. I tore the original cover off of the planner and replaced it with much prettier paper. I did use the original piece to mark the holes so I could slide my cover right into the rings. I punched the holes with my crop-a-dile and then made a cut near each hole so I could get it into the rings, I love that you can't even tell! Since this planner is for my 6 year old daughter, I thought the super adorable birdie from Birdie Wishes would be perfect. She loved it! For the record, it was going to go in her stocking but seriously, how could I let Santa take the credit for this one? :) Plus she would have known it was from me anyway, right? I then added some foam number stickers and called it done!
I hope you have enjoyed this weeks Dollar Find Friday!
