TSG42- He/She card
One of the complaints that I hear most often from stampers is about how difficult it is to create a masculine card. So I have a great challenge to get you more comfortable in this area of stamping ;) My challenge for you this week is to create two identical cards using the same images but change the colors (this can include different DP) and embellishments so that one is a feminine card and the other more masculine. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create two identical cards (same images) using different colors/embellishments (one in feminine one masculine), then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Feb. 22nd). The winner will receive a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. I will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG42 so we can check out your beautiful work!
Need some inspiration to get you started? Check out these great projects made by the following Trendsetters!

Stampbook Saturday- Jessica
It's Saturday which means that it is time again for a Stampbook Page! Last weekend my wonderful, amazing, loving husband bought me my dream camera (Canon Xsi)!! I'm sure he just got a little tired of having to hear me complain about how much I disliked our point and shoot camera but he said it was an early Valentine's Day present so I'm gonna go with that ;)
I have had so much fun playing with it this week and I am slowly learning how to use the different settings. For today's Stampbook Page, I chose these pictures that I took of Kayla. She is our youngest (and craziest lol!) child and I love how many emotions I was able to catch in her eyes in the span of a few short seconds.
I hope that you all have a wonderful and safe weekend!!

Dollar Find Friday From Dawn
Join us right HERE for the Friday Night Chat!
(Scroll down to check out Dawn's great TSG project!)
Hi everyone.. It is Dollar Find Friday.. I was trying to think of some type of gift to give to a friend this week. I finally decided on this coaster. I made one of these at a stamp camp a few years ago. Here are the details.
You will need:
A tile from your local home improvement store.. I got this for 38 cents
A stamp set ( I used TSG Act of Kindness)
Craft Ink.. (I used Stampin Up)
Clear Embossing Powder
I stamped my image onto the coaster using the craft ink. Be sure you do not get the shiny coasters as they do not work as well. I poured the clear embossing powder over the stamped image. I carefully tapped off the excess. Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Carefully place your coaster inside the oven and bake it for 10 minutes or until the embossing powder has melted.. I added a felt square to the bottom and a ribbon. This is more for a coffee cup or decoration than for a wet drink..
That's it for me.. Hope you enjoyed my LESS than a dollar Friday Find. Have a great weekend.

Wednesday Trends
Dawn here for your Wednesday Trends. I saw so many wonderful quilled projects and flowers in the latest pictures from CHA. I wanted to share a tutorial my friend MariLynn shared with me. I used the set Treemendous. This is my favorite TSG set.
You will need paper (great way to use scraps)
2 circle punches
Quilling tool ( I got mine at Michael's for $3.00
Hot Glue Gun
Punch a hole in your paper. I used a 1/4 in punch
here. Save this tiny circle for the base.
Now take your larger punch and punch out another
circle around the 1/4 in circle.
Now take your scissors and cut this circle into a spiral until
you get to the middle of the circle.
Take the quilling tool and stick the little tiny end of the
beginning of your circle. Twist the paper around into a tight
circle.
Now you can hot glue the quilled paper to your little 1/4 circle you punched and saved previously.
Well that's it for me.. I hope you will try this fun way to embellish your
papercrafting projects.. I want to thank MariLynn for her instructions.
