TSG71 - A Color Challenge

Hello TSG Friends! It's Julie here, sharing today Monday challenge. Today's There She Goes challenge is a color challenge: Black, Kraft and Teal. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card using this color challenge, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (September 6th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG70 so we can check out your beautiful work!

What is Week In Review (WIR)?- WIR is where we showcase cards made by the Trendsetters and myself throughout the week. Not only to you get to see gorgeous projects made using TSG stamps, but you also have a chance to WIN one of these cards! Stampbook Saturday & Stuff ~

ETA: The first and third Stampbook Page was actually created by Pam Varnell using inpiration from projects made by Sandra MacLean and Jodi Collins

What is a Stampbook Page? A Stampbook Page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new Stampbook Page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos that you've been meaning to scrapbook ;)

Since we are celebrating both the 2nd birthday of There She Goes and the installation of new trendsetters, I thought this would be a great opportunity to do a review of some of my favorite Stampbook Saturday posts.

First up is this gorgeous card made by Sandra M. Her coloring on this just makes me drool.


Then Pam turned around and made this amazing Remember page of her parents. What an awesome tribute, Pam!

And the picture of two of Jessica's girls is precious beyond words. The butterflies look like they are flying right off the page!

As Jessica mentioned in her Friday post, it's time to play some party games!! Our first game for the Birthday Bash is a Blog Scavenger Hunt.

Here's how it's going to work. Read the two paragraphs below. In the paragraphs, I mention 10 images from 10 different There She Goes sets. Over the next week (9/4-9/8), a Trendsetter will post an image (could be a card, project or just the image) on their blog. When you find it, you'll want to copy the URL (for that post) onto your game card which I have linked on the TSG website HERE. When you've found all 10 items and filled out your card, e-mail the game card to me at hwebmania2@yahoo.com. The first person to complete the game card with the correct URLs will win a $15 gift certificate for the There She Goes store! Ok, here comes the list:

I was in the kitchen (A Woman’s Place) the other day when I saw through the window (Art is a Window) a pair of angel wings (Angel Mail) fly by. I was certain they were real as I had not had a drink (Drink A Day) in quite some time! In the yard, the puppies (Puppy Love) were playing as sweet little Bees (Bee Happy) swirled around their heads.

From the other room, I heard Dad (Dadisms) exclaim “You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream!”(Dream a New Dream) He then suggested we take a trip to the coast (by the sea) . He was right. I thought, "From a withered tree, a flower blooms (the Journey).

Happy Birthday There She Goes!

I can hardly believe that TSG is two years old this month! While I'll admit that some days it feels like it's been 5 years, most of the time it feels like I'm still a newbie at this whole stamp company thing. I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement and I can't even tell you how thankful I am for all of the amazing friends I have met along the way!!

There is no way that I could have done it without you and to show my gratitude, you are all invited to There She Goes' 2nd Birthday Bash! (I'll be keeping an eye on a few of you just to make sure things don't get too out of hand. I won't name any names though. *cough, BOND, cough* )

It may be TSG's birthday but I want to give all of the presents to you! All MONTH (that's right I said MONTH!!) long we will be celebrating with one of the best birthday parties around!! There will be lots of give aways, games, challenges, etc. and I hope that you will join us in all of the fun.

Party Games: A party just wouldn't be complete without some fun games thrown into the mix. Every Friday during the Friday Night Chat, a new game will be announced. At the end of the week one lucky player will win any $15 stamp set available on the TSG Website! FYI- all of the game info will also be posted on the TSG Blog Saturday mornings along with our weekly Stampbook Saturday post.

But wait- there's more!! How would you like a $50 gift certificate to spend in the TSG Store? All you need to do is play along each week in the challenges in games. TWO winners will be announced during the Release Party Chat at the end of the month- one for the challenges and one for the party games. The winners will be drawn at random from a list of people who participated in ALL of the challenges/games. And don't forget, you will have an entire WEEK to play along in both!

You'll want to make sure and check the TSG blog everyday. You never know if one of the Trendsetters happens to be giving something away as well ;)

Today we are shining our Trendsetting Spotlight on Jenn B! When I came across this beauty made with our Poppies set, I knew it had to be in the showcase:


Most of you already know Jenn as being a long time driving force behind the Splitcoaststampers site. Well here's a little more about Jenn:

As an avid paper lover from her youth, Jenn was eventually invited to a stamp party sometime around 2002. One look at the catalog and she was hooked. She credits the hobby for meeting some amazing people that she counts as friends.

A ribbon lover, she tends to use that on a lot of her projects, but claims that sparkly embellishments entice her, too. I'm thinking the ribbon industry must have exploded about the time us stampers came on the scene! :)

Jenn is a family person and enjoys spending her time at theme parks, regular parks or anywhere where she can be with them. Whenever she gets the chance, she loves to read, too!

Quoting Jenn "I live in a small town outside of San Antonio with my family. We have a dog, a cat, piles of laundry, and can usually be found on the road somewhere between here and either the grocery store or the karate studio the kids attend." And just look at those gorgeous kids up there! Jenn is truly blessed.
