Woohoo! I'm sooo excited to share my Dollar Find project with you all. I absolutly LOVE how it turned out and it's something I've been dying to get for our lake house. So here's the before-shot of the Welcome Sign I bought for a dollar. It's okay, not too bad, right? BUT soooo not me-that yellow and green just aren't speaking to me.

Then I had an a-ha moment, bought the sign and created this beauty in about 30 minutes. I used some of my favorite dp by October Afternoon, with a great color combo-kraft, aqua, and red, and added some gorgeous There She Goes Stamps-polka dot blossoms and the stem from Dance. A few buttons and twine, some Jillibean Soup corrugated letters and wah-la! Here's what I've got now.
We've had our lake house for 5 years now and we haven't done much to it in the way of decorating. Every spring I say I want a new welcome sign (there is a country-like-angel on the front door now). To be honest, I've been a little cheap and just haven't wanted to spend $10+ on something. Well, I didn't have to and I got to custom-make something that fits me just perfectly!
