It's me, Sandra, here to share my very first (gasp!) Stampbook page with you! (It won't be my last either because I loooooooved doing it!)
What is a Stampbook Page? A Stampbook Page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new Stampbook Page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos that you've been meaning to scrapbook.
Last week I spied this uber sweet card by our fearless leader, Jessica and knew right away it'd make for a fabulous stampbook page! It's such a fabulous layout that I could have used any photograph to scrap, but I decided to stick with the dog theme since I have quite a few pictures of our old dog Snookie and I needed a page to remember him by. Sadly, he died a couple of years ago.
Did I mention that I {heart} the recently released Puppy Love set??! I think it's the best dog stamp set this side of the Mississippi River....and the other side too!! hehe The little itty bitty stamps are great for creating background paper and the main images color up beautifully, or you work well on their own as line art stamps! I loved the layout on Jess's card so much, I kept it pretty much the same but made it fit an 8x8 size page. And even though I have a whole stack of the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper, I decided to go with Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers paper because, well, it was perfect for the dog theme....and besides that - I own three stacks that need to be used up! hahaha
I hope this inspired you to scrap a photo of your 4-legged friends! Thanks for stopping by!
Cute page!
