Hey! Natalie Here! I'm going to share with you one of my very favorite

HOT techniques today and that is PLEATING! I LOVE pleating!!!

Whether it is ribbon or paper, pleating is hot hot hot!

My first sample shows you paper pleating. I love to punch the bottom of the strip of paper with a border punch and then I hold it in my thumb and fingers and kinda pinch and fold, pinch and fold. Keeping in mind that this is not a fan fold like in the medallion that Sandra shared last week.

I also like to wrap ribbon around it and tie in a bow like I did here.

for ribbon pleating, I just run some adhesive along where I want the ribbon to go and fold, tuck and pleat as I move along the strip of adhesive. I think a good strong adhesive is best for this.
