Hi, it's Debby here with you today for Wednesday Trends. So as I was umming and ahhhing over what had caught my eye out in blog land just recently, I remembered seeing the use of panels cropping up more. Panels where the whole image had been split into sections, panels where just a sliver of gap peeks down to the base below, panels revealing a sentiment ...... panels everywhere!
For my card I wanted to use panels to add interest to my little scene and show peeks of the embossing below.
I added a swoosh of patterned paper to some off white card before using a die to cut the card into 3 pieces. Then I mounted the pieces over some embossed card before layering my coloured images over the top. I loved the effect of the panels and will certainly be using this simple technique to add interest to my cards in the future :)
I will be back on Friday with Anything But A Card! See you then :)
