What is Week In Review (WIR)?- WIR is where we showcase cards made by the Trendsetters and myself throughout the week. Not only to you get to see gorgeous projects made using TSG stamps, but you also have a chance to WIN one of these cards! Stampbook Saturday - Julie

Hello! It's Julie here with today's Stampbook Saturday post. It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Jessie and chose to CASE her card into a Stampbook page for today. This is a picture of one of my rescue puppies named Dublin. He's half miniature pinscher and half yellow lab. He's such a sweet dog and really a wonderful addition to our family. The sentiment on this page is from the newer Puppy Love set which has quickly became one of my all-time favorite TSG sets!

Dollar Find Friday - Halloween Pencil Boxes

Hello TSG friends! It's Julie here with today's Dollar Find Friday post. I was at the Dollar Spot at Target the other day and I came across these adorable Halloween pencils. They were 10 for $1. I found a tutorial on Laurie Schmidlin's blog here for these cute little pencil holders. I found that the HSH Halloween Additions set had the most perfect little images to fit in the circle punch and wasn't too large to put on the front of the boxes. :)

Hello friends! This week we are shining the spotlight on Debbie M! Debbie had FIVE entries in last week's challenge. All of the entries were awesome, but this one in particular caught my eye:


I've never been overly attracted to shabby, probably because I don't do it well, but this inspires me!

Debbie has been papercrafting for 20 years. She started with scrap books for her two sons. She has been as she calls it "serious" for the last 5 years. Her stamping resume reads like a book. Having designed for The Shabby Tea Room, The Pink Elephant, Truly Scrumptious, Picture Perfect Creations, Fuzzy & Fancy, Pile it On!, Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and a list of prior DTs as well. Debbie is also a quilter!

She is a very active wife of 24 years, mom and pet owner. When she is not stamping, Debbie enjoys boating, water skiing, golfing, spending time at the beach. She's also loves antiquing, collecting antiques, dolls and teddy bears. Yet, she still finds time to have tea parties with her friends! Even at all that, she still has time to teach two paper crafting classes!

Wednesday Trends - Bow Tying

ETA: There have been a couple of updates on prior blog posts that I wanted to let you guys know about!

Hello TSG friends! It's Julie here with today's Wednesday Trends post. I'm constantly being asked about my bow tying, how I do it, what ribbon I use, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to do a quick tutorial to show you how I tie a bow. I started out with a piece of bright green May Arts ribbon so you could see the tying in action. :)

Step 1: I always tie left over right for the first knot. It's important to keep the ribbon pretty tight, so I keep a finger where I'm pointing throughout the whole process.

Step 2: I form rabbit ears. It's important to still keep that first knot very tight.

Step 3: Tie the rabbit ears. Again, left over right. Notice how that first knot is still very tight.

Step 4: Pull the rabbit ears through and form your first bow. It looks pretty ugly right now but this is where the magic happens. :)

Step 5: This is the "adjusting" part. I always put my two fingers in the rabbit ears and mess with it for awhile.

Step 6: Continue adjusting. I put one finger through the top of each rabbit ear separately and pull with the opposing tail. It's important to keep your finger through the top of the "ear" as you pull because that's how you get the nice poofy ribbon loops. :)

Step 7: Voila!!! Now just trim the ends and you're good to go!

Trendsetter Tuesday- Julie

I was so happy when past Trendsetter Julie said that she would come back to There She Goes as a Sr. Trendsetter! Her clean and simple style is absolutely beautiful and she always amazes me with what she can do with just a few stamps!! I'm going to switch it up a bit this week with our Trendsetter Tuesday post and share with you Julie's TSG bio along with some fabulous recent TSG cards that she has created :)

 I absolutely love this wonderful card that she made for this week's TSG challenge (which she is the hostess of!)

And here is another beauty. I just love how she can make a simply stamped image pop without even coloring it in!

And this card should easily be on the cover of a stamping magazine!! The layout, colors,  and ribbon are amazing together.
