Trendsetting Spotlight on Tracy!

Hey everyone!  There were oodles of entries for Iwona's 3 punch/die challenge! Thank you so much for participating everyone!  It was so had to narrow down the entries, but this week's spotlight is definitely shining on .....Tracy from the United Kingdom!

 Tracy did an amazing job of incorporating 3 different types of dies/punches on this lovely card.  She cut the base with Spellbinders Grand Nesties, Tim Holtz Tattered Floral dies and a MS edge punch for the trim.  Thanks so much for entering Tracy! Wednesday Trends...masking

Hi Everyone! Ann here with the Wednesday Trend. Today I thought it might be fun to go over the technique of masking. Masking is used to make an object appear infront of or behind an object or make an object holding something like I did today.

The tools you will need are an image to mask, ink, sharp cutting scissors and a sticky note pad.

The first thing you will want to do is stamp the image the will be in front or in the foreground.

Then stamp the same image again onto a sticky note. I did not stamp the whole image today because I am just focusing on her hand.

Next, with your sharp scissors cut out your image from the sticky note. Make sure your cutting is exact and then lay it over your image to be colored. Make sure all lines line up properly.

Now go ahead and stamp the second image or the one that will be in the background of the picture. Stamp it right over the sticky

Now pull your sticky note up and viola...she is holding an ice cream cone.

Trendsetter Tuesday - Ann!

Hey there everyone! Hope y'all had a fabulous 4th of July and are ready for another exciting week here at There She Goes!  I have the wonderful opportunity to re-introduce you to our Trendsetter of the Week, Ann Kranitz!

Ann used the fabulous Out of this World set to create this gorgeous CAS card.  Look at all the bling and glitter! LOVE it!

One of my favorite things about Ann is her versatility.  Here she makes a pretty vintage card with the Lighten Up stamp set.  Gorgeous!

 And this last cutie that I spied on Ann's blog, uses the bunny on a mushroom image from the newly released The Fairy Best stamp set and some soft, soothing DP.  What a fabulously adorable card!  Be sure to "hop" on over to Ann's blog, Stamp with Me, to see more creations and leave her some love.

TSG114 ~ Glitter, Glitz & Bling / And an Announcement!

Happy 4th of July to all of our friends in the US! Our challenge this week is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week- Ann. Hi, my name is America Kuhn and I am super excited to be a TSG Trendie! Thank you, Jessica for the great opportunity to play along side your fabulous team! What an honor!

I am a military wife to my awesome Soldier husband of 11 years (who is also my biggest FAN!).
I am also a proud SAHM to four terrific children.

My papercrafting journey began in 2002 when I was introduced to scrapbooking by a military mom while stationed in Germany. A year later I discovered rubber stamps while searching for scrapbook items in Hawaii and seeing what stamps could do was almost like love at first sight!

I've been passionate about paper crafts but especially card making. It's an addiction like no other that's taken me on a great journey in which I've made some wonderful crafty friends along the way.

I've been luck and fortunate enough to design for several stamp companies along the way. It is my great hope to inspire others as my way of giving back to the great stamping community that has taught me so much!

Stampbook Saturday ~ Tammy

Hi everyone! It's me, Tammy and I've got the Stampbook Saturday post for you today. I hope you'll like what I came up with! The recently released "Lighten Up" stamp set has been one of my favorites, so I took inspiration from Jessie's card shown here. I love the mix of fancy black and white paper with the red and white polka dots, plus I think this lamp shade is my most favorite one from the set. I took some of Jessie's ideas here, and created.....

A photo frame with this pictures of my beautiful daughters! This was taken just after my oldest daughter's high school graduation ceremony, and I just love their bright smiles on that gorgeous, sunny day!
I paper pieced the lamp shade with the pattern from the back side of the black and white patterned paper (from My Mind's Eye) and accented with the red and white polka dot paper (from Echo Park).
At first I thought I'd make the frame for myself, but instead made two... one for each of my girls! I hope they'll like them! :)

Dollar Find Friday - tooth fairy box

Hello, stampers! Iwona here, sharing a fun little project for my Dollar Find Friday post.

I was inspired by Jessica's project, posted on the TSG blog two years ago. She made a cute little tooth holder for her girl, and I wanted to make something similar. My box will go to my friends' adorable daughter!
I altered the box, that some SEI chippie flowers came in. I knew I'd use it some day, and I'm glad I didn't throw it away.

I covered it with some of my favourite MME papers (Alphabet Soup collection), added a stripe of cardstock inside, and a fun ruffled ribbon (from SU!), to cover the unsightly bits.

I filled the box with colourful felt shapes, that the tooth can rest on, and made a scalloped circle insert, with a fun rhyme & tooth images from the Fairy Good Day stamp set. There's also a space to put the date of a lost tooth in.

I coloured the tooth fairy and mushrooms, from the Fairy Good Day set, with Copics, cut them out and popped up on the foam squares. I also stamped the sentiment on the paper.
I added some glitter glue to the fairy's wings and on parts of the mushrooms.
