the day to say hello :) Now check out Donna's Dollar Find Friday project!

What is Dollar Find Friday? Every Friday the featured Trendsetter will share a project with you that was createdusing an item that costs $1 or less. Everyone loves a good bargin and now we will show you ideas on how to actually use those great finds!
Hey everyone it's Donna again! Ok, I have a slight confession to make. What I have to share with you today I found on special and it did cost just over a dollar to buy....But I figured with the way the Australian dollar is and the conversion rate Jessica might just let me get away with it! Anywhoo... I have been meaning to decorate these letters for my niece and nephew for awhile now and while I was making my "Poppies" card the other day and embossing the butterflies from the Poppie Stamp Set I thought that they (the butterflies) would look really good on Emily's letter E....

Ok, before we get started, yes, I know that I have the E upside down and back-to-front! I realised this as I was taking the photo...She's 8...She won't notice!! Anyway, I painted the E in this really pretty shade if pink and then stamped the butterflies on the with some Versafine Onyx Black ink and then embossed them with clear embossing powder. I find that if you emboss the image that it really stands out much better that just stamping and you get a bit of texture. Then I got out my trusty Prisma Pencils and shaded the butterflies in...Easy!!

Just a closer look... I actually don't know if I have finished with the E just yet as I am tempted to add a bit of silver sparkle on the butterflies as well...What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed my Dollar Find Friday...And have a Happy Easter everyone!!!
