Stampbook Saturday - Angela

Hey there everyone, it's Angela here for Stampbook Saturday!! I hope you're having a wonderful day.

What is a Stampbook Page? A stampbook page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new stampbook page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos you've been meaning to scrapbook.

I was inspired by Corinna's "Eye shadow" card

I love Corinna's layout and the clean simple look that her card had and of course it had one of my other new loves, Kraft Cardstock.  Last weekend, Kim Teasdale and I hosted a Stamping event and Jessica, our fearless leader came up for it so I decided I had to make a Stampbook page of it.  I have some other pictures from that day that I plan to stampbook as well.

I have followed Corinna's layout, just made it into an 8 x 8 stampbook page.  The DP I've used is from Crate Paper and each layer of cardstock and DP have been distressed to give it an aged look.  I then used Crumb Cake ink to sponge around the Kraft Cardstock.  At the event, I made a card that used one of the scalloped flowers and other TSG stamps to be used for the make and take portion of the day (so of course I had to put it on).  The sentiment I've used is so true - what's better than friends who stamp right? The sentiment is from the set "Craftier Taglines" and the small images are from "Crafty Taglines" - love those sets.

Have a great day!!!
