Wednesday Trends

Hello everyone.. It's Dawn here for your Wednesday Trends.. I have been noticing more and more fabric being used on cards.  I love to pull out a piece of fabric and make it into a ribbon for my cards.  There are
so many beautiful fabrics out there now.. For this card I chose some red and white gingham fabric. 
It is perfect for this terrific new release set called Penguin Love.

When I use fabric I like to cut a small snip in the fabric and tear it to get a frayed edge rather than cutting the strip..  You could also use fabric in your die cutting machine to make different embellishments for your cards.  I have created flowers, hearts and even squares for a quilt card.
