Hello's and Goodbye's....

I am a little late putting this post up, and the only reason I can think of is....well, I just really didn't want to write it. 

Today we say a very fond, heartfelt, super duper sad farewell to two designers that have been a part of the There She Goes family pretty much from the beginning. 

Not only has she been a great friend, loyal customer, then a devoted designer, today we say goodbye to Theresa Winslow. You will forever be missed in the There She Goes family. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and friendship that you offered to this company, we are forever greatful. You are a wonderful person, and a good friend. Don't be a stranger!!! 

Sandra McLean....I just don't know what to say about you leaving. (insert sounds of sobbing here...you know, the ugly cry one) You have been on this team as long as it's been around it seems, and you are irreplaceable in my eyes. Your designs will be missed, but YOU will be missed even more. Thank you for your years of hard work, and dedication the There She Goes. I will miss seeing you around, but we all know you won't be far. Good luck in EVERYTHING you do, and please, don't forget your Trendsetter family!!

And now, for the hellos!! When I found out Theresa was leaving, then Sandra, and with Holly and Carole still on leave, I felt like we needed a pick me up...another designer to fill in the empty spots, and welcome into our happy little family. I looked no further than my friend, the SUPER DUPER talented, and SUPER sweet designer: Sarah Gough!!!!!

You may know Sarah from around the blogosphere, but if not...here is some info about her! 

We are SUPER excited to have Sarah joining us, and we hope you are as well. Be sure to run past her blog and say hey!!! 

TSG213-Sketch

This week, our challenge is to use the sketch provided. It was inspired by a card from our fabulous Trendsetter, Sandra!!

Beach Bums - Stampbook Saturday

Hi there!! It's Angela here and yes, I'm super late with this week's Stampbook Saturday. Rather than doing a  Stampbook page, I decided to show a fun scene I created last summer for one of the galleries while I was Dirty Dozen at Splitcoaststampers.  I had a ton of fun creating this scene using a variety of dies and some images from the set called "Beach Bums".  The two kid images and the palm tree were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then colored with Tombow Markers. For the sand, I tore the edges of some designer paper and then sponged the edge with Chocolate Chip ink.  The waves were created with a wave die and then sponged with Bermuda Blue ink.  I have also sponged the edges of the sun and the clouds with corresponding inks.
