Hey everyone!! It's me, Jessie, and I am back with this week's Dollar Find Friday post. As you all know, I am NOT a fan of altering....well, you may not all know that, but now you do, so for my project, I try to find stuff that isn't too challenging....so I don't scare myself, LOL.For this week's project, I decided to make a shadow box wall hanging. I picked up the frame at the Dollar Tree for, you guessed it, a dollar! I started by stamping several images from the Loads of Fun set, coloring them with my Copics, and then cutting them out. I then stamped several of the clothespins and colored and cut them out as well. Crazy right? Then, I used glue dots to attach them to my "clothesline", which is hemp twine from SU. I then used more glue dots to attach the line to the insides of the frame.
My background was made by attaching a piece of Slumber Party DSP from SU to the back of the frame. I stamped my sentiment on it before attaching it, and added some socks as a little extra something.
Pretty simple, but I LOVE it...and I can't wait to hang it on my wall, if I ever get my own place!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope to see you tonight at the Friday Night Chat !!
For not liking altering things, you did an awesome job on it....I LOVE it!!! You should keep altering things...your good at it. Another reason now that I have to get the Loads of Fun stamp set!!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is really cute! Would look great in a laundry room. My friend has a laundry room that I absolutely covet. It's an actual room with real walls and cabinets and a hanging rack. *sigh* You did a great job with your project!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo adorable! I love that! Now I am thinking of all the cute little things I could make and hang up in my kid's rooms! I never would have thought of that!
