What is a Stampbook Page? A Stampbook Page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new Stampbook Page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos that you've been meaning to scrapbook. ;)
This week I wasn’t inspired by a card as much as I was inspired by my youngest son. He sat down one afternoon this past week without any prompting, and he created his very own “Bucket List”. Let me explain what this is. A Bucket List is a series of events/activities that someone wants to achieve before they die. Some of his were: to write a one-hit wonder, to slow dance with Lady Gaga (LOL), and to get a tattoo by Kat Von D. I was so tickled when he read me his list of dreams and wishes, so I decided that I would create my very own (yet short) Bucket List Book.
1. Ride in a hot air balloon (Aim For The Clouds);
2. Meet Robert Pattinson [sigh} (Happy Day, LOL Taglines);
3. Travel through the Tuscan countryside with my hubby for a month (ROFL Taglines);
4. Be an extra in a film (ROFL Taglines);
5. Have one of my cards published in a popular magazine (Home Sweet Home).
* All images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & colored with Copic Sketch Markers
* I kept the layouts very simple, so it would be quick and easy to assemble. I added some piercing to each of the list pages using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, and all of the images were popped off of the pages using Dimensionals.
* The cover page is a close-up photo of me with an overlay of Vellum. “Bucket List” was created in Adobe Photoshop and printed directly onto the Vellum. Jumbo eyelets were added to the upper left-hand corners of each page using a Crop-a-Dile, then a Round Metal Clip was used to secure the pages together into a flip book.
* Miscellaneous Ribbons were ties around the metal clip, then several Buttons were attached to the cover using Glue Dots.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed today’s Stampbook Saturday! {{{Hugs}}}
