It is with great pleasure that we bring you this week's featured stamper, Katie Skiff!
Katie is an avid crafter and There She Goes faithful follower. She is always around for our Friday Night Chats, loves our stamps and even sent Jessica's girls a care package of crafting stuff recently.
Here is a bookmark Katie made using Aim for The Clouds that I simply adore!
And I love this card! Katie used two of my favorite stamp sets....Domestic Goddess and A Woman's Place.
I sent Katie a few questions to find out a little bit more about her and her crafting.....
1. How long have you been stamping and how did you get introduced to the craft?
I first started scrapbooking about 11 years ago at a Creative Memories crop, and shortly after went to my first Stampin' Up! workshop. It only took the one time to be hooked. It's only been the last four years that I've become serious about it, and made it a part of my daily life.
2. What is your "go to" embellishment?
It's probably a toss up between ribbon and buttons. I think I use one or the other, and sometime both on every card/project.
3. Favorite new craft trend?
Pleating ribbon - I am still a newbie and working on this technique, but I love it.
4. Bio: family, work, fun?
I am a SAHM to three kids, wife to a supportive guy, who all understand my craft addiction and let me express it everyday. I also enjoy quilting, scrapbooking, and as a family we enjoy drag racing, camping and spending time with friends and the rest of our families.
I am very excited to have found TSG, I love the effort Jessica and the other designers put into their sets, inlcuding all the details. I also love the friendships I've made with these girls!! Thanks for spotlighting me! ♥
