Dollar Find Friday - Jodi

Happy Friday everyone! I hope that you all have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend :) Join us tonight right HERE in the TSG Forum for our weekly Friday Night Chat. Everyone is welcome and we love to meet new people!

What is Dollar Find Friday? Every Friday the featured Trendsetter will share a project with you that was created using an item that costs $1 or less. Everyone loves a good bargain...now we will show you some ideas on how to actually use those great finds!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! It's Jodi here with you today and I have a simple and very inexpensive way to dress up plain bags for your gift giving this holiday season!

I picked up a set of 5 of these gift bags for just $1.00 from my local craft store and using the newly released Just For You set, I got to work decorating one of them!

I started by simply stamping the gingerbread from Just For You all over the bag using Close to Cocoa Ink.

I then created the tag portion of the decoration using Just For You, and I stamped it several times on different colored cardstock, cut out different portions and then put them back together with Foam Tape. The gingerbread is the focal point from the tag, and I adhered Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to his buttons.
Using the Fan Fold Flower Tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, I created the medallion for underneath the tag. I then simply attached it to the bag using some adhesive and called it done!! I would be a snap to decorate a whole bunch for the holidays!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Hope to chat with you tonight at Friday Night Chat!
