Anything But a Card Friday

***We have decided to change what used to be Dollar Find Friday into Anything But a Card Friday!!!***

Hi everyone, Jessie here again. My Papaw passed away, yesterday, and since it was my turn to do ABC Friday , I decided that I would make a shadow box for me to have....but then halfway through, I decided I would make it for my father. My Papaw was a very special man, and had a huge, loving family that he held dear to his heart, as we do him to ours. I will miss him so much, but feel so blessed to have had him in my life. I love you, Papaw, and I will miss you always.

For my shadow box, I found some on sale at Michael's, 3 for $9.99. I took off the back, and covered it with some old SU paper. I didn't have a very good picture of my Papaw here, so I stole one from one of my cousins on Facebook.

I added some Satin Edged White Grosgrain, from the Ribbon Carousel, and American Crafts Thickers for his names. My brads are from Michael's, and my photo corners are the new Photo Corners Die-namics.

To finish it off, I used the Dadism's set to create my sentiment panel. I stamped several of the sayings to make a sort of list.

I really hope he likes this, if not, I am TOTALLY keeping it for myself!
