Stampbook Saturday - Hauntingly Delightful

Hi there!!! It's Angela here and I'm back with my final post of the week with my Stampbook Saturday.

I have never been a huge scrapbooker, mainly because I don't take many pictures but I've decided it's something I really want to get into a bit more.

I was unpacking recently and came across this photo of my hubby and I shortly after we got married. I instantly thought it would be cool for a fun scrapbook page.  It also gave me the opportunity to use one of my favorite TSG sets called "Hauntingly Delightful".  I had fun playing around with some fun colors that I always associate with Halloween.  (believe it or not a couple of the papers are from some pretty girly DP lines).  I've been loving creating my own fishtail banners and thought that they make a huge impact on the page.  I've stamped the mummy from the stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed it with clear embossing powder and then I watercolored it with Tombow Markers.  I did a bit of fussy cutting so that I could pop it up off the page.  The branch and the bird are some Memory Box dies that I bought recently.  (I have a feeling I'll be using them more often).  A couple sentiments from the Hauntingly Delightful set and Voila, all done!!

Hope you like it!!!

  3. I love when you TSG Trendsetters include glimpses into your lives via photos. This is a marvelous layout. Joyous colours, fun fish-tails, and the three coordinating buttons pull it all together.
