Stampbook Saturday

Happy Saturday sweet peeps!

It's Sandra here and today I'm showing you a scrapbook page I created using inspiration from a TSG card. A couple of weeks back I spied Iwona's Dracula card and I instantly fell in love!

I loved the irregular background and the sprinkle of buttons. So I used these elements to create an 8x8 page of my little girl's first day at Kindergarten.

I used lots of different stamps from the awesome back to school set, Believe in You. I colored up the books, the blackboard, the pencil and stamped out the individual words from the first day of school sentiment. I cut irregular pieces of designer paper for the background and machine stitched them to some cardstock for a quilt-like background. If you click on the image for a close up, you can see I also stamped the pencil image all over the lighter colored patterned paper. I have to remind myself, stamps aren't only for coloring! :o)

Hope this inspires you to scrapbook something today!
