Hello All - It's Theresa with a Dollar Friday Find! I have this wonderful friend and every year she goes up to the mountains and chops down herself a Christmas tree. Well this year she was kind enough to chop me one down too. I haven't set up a tree in more than 8-10 years. Finding my ornaments may be impossible. So when I thought about my project for tonight - I immediately thought ornaments.

Ornament-PlainAs I was looking at clear ornaments at Michael's, I was so excited to see that they were 50% off. I bought 3 of them and spent less than $2.00. The one I selected for my project was an oval shaped bulb and it was .64 cents!! How's that for a buck? Only I forgot to photograph it before I decorated it - that's how excited I was. Here is a photo of a round one that I'll be decorating this weekend.

I selected the new Hohoho set to create my ornament. I colored Santa with Copics and then I adhered him to the ornament with a product called Liquid Glass. I also added snowflakes to the inside of the ornament. It's just so darling and it's my first ornament on my tree!

I hope you like my project. I'll be back tomorrow with a Stampbook Saturday.

  1. This is so cool. I love the shine on the snowman, it's amazing! The snow flakes inside are a cute touch.

  2. Oh my goodness, this made me giggle. He's so cute and the snowflakes to fill the inside is a great idea. Very well done Theresa!

  3. Too cute! Great idea to fill the ornament with snowflakes and that Santa is adorable! Fun tree, too!!

Thank you for visiting the TSG Blog, happy stamping!
