Stampbook Saturday - Hauntingly Delightful

Hi there!!! It's Angela here and I'm back with my final post of the week with my Stampbook Saturday.

I have never been a huge scrapbooker, mainly because I don't take many pictures but I've decided it's something I really want to get into a bit more.

I was unpacking recently and came across this photo of my hubby and I shortly after we got married. I instantly thought it would be cool for a fun scrapbook page.  It also gave me the opportunity to use one of my favorite TSG sets called "Hauntingly Delightful".  I had fun playing around with some fun colors that I always associate with Halloween.  (believe it or not a couple of the papers are from some pretty girly DP lines).  I've been loving creating my own fishtail banners and thought that they make a huge impact on the page.  I've stamped the mummy from the stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed it with clear embossing powder and then I watercolored it with Tombow Markers.  I did a bit of fussy cutting so that I could pop it up off the page.  The branch and the bird are some Memory Box dies that I bought recently.  (I have a feeling I'll be using them more often).  A couple sentiments from the Hauntingly Delightful set and Voila, all done!!

Hope you like it!!!

  1. LOVE this!!! super fantastic page :)
ok you both look like teenagers :)

  2. Beautiful page. Loved how you incorporated the stamps. I love to do that as well and your page is quite inspiring.

  3. I love when you TSG Trendsetters include glimpses into your lives via photos. This is a marvelous layout. Joyous colours, fun fish-tails, and the three coordinating buttons pull it all together.

  4. Love the banners and of course the little mummy!! One of my all time fave TSG stamps! And you and your hubs are adorable with your matching witch hats;) xo

  5. Very cute! May have to pick that set up, lol.
