Anything But A Card

Hi, it's Debby here with you today and thank goodness it's Friday! Of course being a Friday it's time for Anything But A Card :) I warn you that I have a lot of photos and also unfortunately it is so dull and grey here that the photos are slightly "off". Maybe I could put this forward as a case to move somewhere warmer and sunnier LOL! Anyhow, here we go!

I was so proud of my youngest when he asked the headteacher if he and two of his friends could have a table at the School Christmas Market to raise "money for the animals". We picked the World Wildlife Fund and have been busy ever since coming up with ideas for the table. Of course everything has to have an animal theme and so it was that as I sat down to make a project for today that I came up with the idea of animal badges :) I coloured several of the cute images from Zoo-pendous and Jungle Out There with copics on to Neenah solar white card. When I was done I backed the image with more card to hide the back of the copic colouring and then fussy cut out.

I hot glued on badge backs.

Then I cut a tag using the Just for You dies out of patterned paper backed with more card. Here's the line up:

I had intended putting a ribbon through the top of the tag and then it occured to me that the tags actually added to the structure of the badge. I punched holes through the tags for the badge backs to poke through.

This also covered up the less than perfect hot glued badge back too. And here they all are finished:

Hopefully these will raise a few pennies for WWF :)
