What is Dollar Find Friday? Every Friday the featured Trendsetter will share a project with you that was created using an item that costs $1 or less. Everyone loves a good bargain and now we will show you ideas on how to actually use those great finds!

Hi Everyone!

For my Dollar Find Friday project, I decided to make my little girl an Easter themed door hanger! It's frilly, pink so you know my little girl is going to LOVE it! LOL

I found a wooden door hanger at Michael's (for $1) and started by painting all the edges with some white acrylic paint. Then when it was dry I applied some patterned paper to it with some tacky glue and trimmed the edges with a craft knife. When the glue is dry, lightly sand the edges with some sandpaper or sanding block.

Once that's done, you can decorate the hanger any way you wish to! I stamped this cute little bunny image from the Hunny Bunnies set then framed it out with some Bazzil Bling cardstock. The ruffled ribbon was created by sewing down the center of it in a large stitch. Tie the threads at one end, then while holding the bottom thread at the other end, slide the ribbon down to create as much ruffle as you need. I also added a fence border with a Martha Stewart edge punch, some buttons and rub-ons.

Hope you enjoyed this week's DFF! :)
